That's what makes skin look dull and feel bumpy and congested, and it's often where blackheads and those small flesh colored bumps begin. Gluconolactone, a polyhydroxy acid, exfoliates and binds water at the same time and also binds the metals that drive oxidation, so retained cells are released without leaving the skin dehydrated.
