Hale and Hush Clarify Wash is an active gel cleanser designed for oily, congested, or dull skin that tolerates exfoliating ingredients.

This formula combines a gentle cleansing system with humectants, mandelic acid, gluconolactone, lactic acid, fruit enzymes, licorice root, tremella mushroom, sodium hyaluronate, and 3 O Ethyl Ascorbic Acid to support smoother texture, improved clarity, and a fresher looking complexion.

Mandelic acid and gluconolactone provide mild surface exfoliating support, while glycerin, propanediol, betaine, tremella, and sodium hyaluronate help reduce the tight or stripped feeling that can occur with active cleansers.

This cleanser is best suited for resilient, oily, combination, or congestion prone skin that benefits from a more active cleansing step.

Acne Consideration

By Skin & Bare It’s strict acne standards, Clarify Wash may be appropriate for some congestion prone routines, but it is not treated as a universal acne cleanser.

This cleanser may be best used selectively, especially for clients who tolerate mandelic acid and active cleansers well but we do not advise daily use. 

Key Ingredients

Mandelic Acid
An alpha hydroxy acid with a larger molecular size than glycolic acid. It supports smoother texture and a clearer looking complexion while often being better tolerated than smaller AHA molecules.

Gluconolactone
A polyhydroxy acid that provides gentle surface smoothing support and also contributes humectant properties.

Lactic Acid
An alpha hydroxy acid that supports surface exfoliation and helps improve the look of dull or uneven texture.
